Grandma's Apple Pie
Nothing beats the smell of apple pie cooking in the kitchen. It smells almost as good as it taste. Here is a simple recipe that you can make while preparing dinner and by the time you have finished eating dinner, the pie will be ready.
Grandma's Apple Pie Recipe
6 tart apples, cored, peeled, and sliced
2 pre-made pie crust
1 1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Mix white sugar, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and lemon juice together.
3. Mix in apple slices. Coat apple slices well.
4. Add apple mixture to one pie crust and spread evenly.
5. Dab a little butter around the top of the apple mixture.
6. Take a thin knife and run around the sides of the second pie crust.
7. Invert the second pie crust on top of the apple mixture and close the two pie crust edges together with your fingers.
8. Slice 4 small vents in the the top of the pie.
9. Place in the oven and bake for 30-45 minutes until the pie is golden brown.
10. Let sit for 5 minutes.
You can serve this with cool whip, ice cream, or all by itself. It is best right out of the oven.

Nothing beats a classic like this! And the way it leave your home smelling is beyond belief.
No such thing as too many apple pie recipes. This one sounds easy and wonderful!
